Acceptable Use Policy

What is and is not allowed on Nexus Passport, Nexus Learn OS, EduBox, the marketplace, and AI features.

Last updated: May 14, 2026

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy protects learners, teachers, schools, NGOs, partners, and the wider Nexus Passport community. It applies to everyone who uses our platform, services, marketplace, or AI features.

Education-first use

Nexus Passport exists to support real learning, teaching, certification, and education delivery. You may not use the Service for purposes that have no genuine educational, learning-support, or institutional-operation use case.

Prohibited content

You may not upload, generate, host, share, sell, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, violent, defamatory, deceptive, or that endangers minors.

Prohibited marketplace listings

  • Stolen, plagiarized, illegal, unsafe, or unauthorized content.
  • Resources that misrepresent their author, source, license, or scope.
  • Listings that promise outcomes that cannot reasonably be delivered.
  • Resources that violate the rights of third parties.

AI usage restrictions

AI tools (AI Tutor, lesson generators, quiz builders, and similar features) may not be used to create harmful, fraudulent, medical, legal, or other high-risk professional advice without qualified review. AI outputs may be inaccurate; teachers remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated lessons, quizzes, and materials before publishing. Do not attempt to bypass safety controls or use AI to generate prohibited content.

Health content restrictions

Health education content is informational only and must not be presented as a replacement for professional medical care. Do not use Nexus Passport to diagnose, prescribe, or otherwise practice medicine.

Child safety and student protection

Any sexualization, grooming, exploitation, or endangerment of minors is strictly forbidden and will be reported to authorities where required. School and organization administrators must protect student data and access in line with their own policies and applicable law.

No fraud or identity misrepresentation

Do not impersonate another person or organization, falsify role, credentials, or verification status (school, NGO, agency, vendor, or partner), or attempt to obtain payments, refunds, or access to which you are not entitled.

No illegal activity

Do not use Nexus Passport for activity that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction or in ours, including export controls and sanctions.

No harmful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, or violent content

We do not host or facilitate hate speech, harassment, threats, sexual content involving minors, content glorifying violence or self-harm, or similar categories.

No academic cheating services or exam fraud

Do not use Nexus Passport to operate or promote contract-cheating services, paid exam-taking, fake certificate vending, or to compromise the integrity of exams or credentials.

Do not upload, sell, or distribute copyrighted materials unless you have the rights or the content is legally usable (for example, an open educational resource under a compatible license). Repeat infringement may result in account termination.

No malware, scraping abuse, spam, or security attacks

Do not introduce malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access, probe or stress our infrastructure, scrape data in violation of our terms, or send unsolicited bulk communications through the Service.

Marketplace seller responsibilities

Vendors must hold the rights to everything they list, describe their resources accurately, honor stated licensing terms, and respond to reasonable buyer support requests. Vendors are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of what they sell.

EduBox deployment responsibilities

Schools and organizations deploying EduBox are responsible for safe physical handling of devices, age-appropriate content selection for their learners, local consent and child protection requirements, and basic operational hygiene of their deployments.

Enforcement actions

Violations may result in content removal, listing takedown, feature restrictions, account suspension, account termination, refund denial in line with our Refund Policy and Paddle’s policies, and reporting to authorities where required.

Reporting violations

To report a violation, email info@empowerednexus.com or message us on WhatsApp at +237 694 54 16 18 with as much detail as you can share.
